You can try SmugMug free for 14 days without having to cough up your billing information.
After you've created at least one gallery, you'll see a button on your SmugMug homepage (when you're logged in) to let you sign up (and pay up).
You can pay for your SmugMug account via credit card or via Amazon Payments. If you choose the latter, you'll be taken to Amazon's site where you can verify your billing information and complete the transaction.
After you sign up, you'll be billed annually unless you decide to cancel your account.
Note: If you pay for your account through Amazon Payments, you may still want to add a credit card in your SmugMug Control Panel so you can give the Gift of SmugMug and more easily order prints.
Ack! I let more than 14 days go by...
No worries. For an additional 14 days your photos remain in place. You can still subscribe without losing them.
Renewals
We email you 30 days prior to your SmugMug anniversary. Your renewal date is displayed in the Stats tab of your Control Panel.
Because most people renew (and to make it as easy as possible on you), we automatically renew your subscription and charge you on your anniversary date without you having to do anything.
However, you can always respond to our email or go into the Settings tab of your Control Panel to cancel your subscription.
As caretakers of your priceless photos, we're reluctant to take a chance with them and cancel your account in case you've changed your email address or forgotten to update your billing information. We'll do our best to contact you to ensure your photos are not lost.

You can update your credit card by going to the Settings tab of your Control Panel.
Note to Pro Subscribers: For accounting purposes, we cannot apply pro profits towards renewal cost.
Gotcha: At this time you cannot switch between credit card and Amazon Payments.
Downgrades
If you have a paid Professional or Power account and would like to step down to a lower account level, please contact a SmugMug Support Hero using the link below.
We'll be glad to help and we'll walk you through some necessary steps to ease the transition, such as removing any existing watermarks. We don't refund for the remainder of your subscription year, so if you are considering downgrading you'll want to have us take care of that before your account renews.
