Many people wonder if their original, high-resolution photos can be downloaded from SmugMug onto their own computers — or onto the computers of their favorite people around the world.
You can always download your high-resolution images. Your visitors can, too, if you choose "Original" for the "Largest size" option in your Customize Gallery settings.
Single image downloading
Method 1: If the option is turned on, move your mouse over the main image in a gallery. You'll see a save photo icon.
Click it. That's all there is to it.
Method 2: Alternatively, you can move your mouse over the main image in a gallery and click on Original.
The photo will be displayed (it could be very large). Right-click (Windows) anywhere on the photo and a small menu will pop up; choose Save Image As...
